How to Block Adobe Flash
I just found out that iPad loading webpages faster then a state-of-the-art iMac. I didn’t believe it at first, but it’s true. The problem was found quick and solute easy. Install ClickToFlash app and block that damn Adobe Flash! The app has a whitelist to allow flash on websites that you want to have flash. You can also view blocked Flash with just one click.

If you have Mozilla FireFox installed, you can block ALL of Adobe’s sloppy Flash, simply by installing the FireFox Plug-In named “FlashBlock”. It is very simple, just click FireFox TOOLS menu, then Add-Ons, then type in FlashBlock. Any page with Flash on it will show a box with an arrow. The Flash cannot load or run UNLESS you click on the arrow. This is actually better than using a Flash – blocking application, because that is an executable which runs ALL the time, even off-line. This consumes RAM and CPU resources, and will surely (as most “add-on” software does) have some conflicts with other software. Of course, if your Apple cannot run FireFox, then you must use the executable software. BTW, while downloading FlashBlock, also add “NoScript”. This disables java on any site that you do not whitelist. Java slows down web surfing even more than Flash does. So this will make the page loading MUCH faster (and safer, since most browser page referral and hijacking malware uses java to attack your PC or palm devce).
